Discover the main goals and tools of PIN

The Psoriasis International Network (PIN) is a joint action of FRT - Fondation René Touraine - an international foundation for dermatology - and the EADV Psoriasis Task Force.

PIN gathers at present over 4700 dermatologists from some 95 countries, as well as rheumatologists and other health professionals involved in psoriasis management. PIN also collaborates with 40 patient associations.

PIN is a tool to develop and promote exchanges at the national level and facilitate international collaborations in the field of psoriasis.

2 main goals :

  • 1. At the local and regional levels : improve the quality of health care for psoriatic patients and their access to quality skin care

    • By developing national and regional psoriasis networks between professionals, patients and families
    • By organizing national and regional meetings to exchange on difficult cases, building guidelines and evaluating patient needs
  • 2. At the global level: promote international collaborations to develop clinical and therapeutic research in the field of psoriasis
    • By developing an active network that brings together dermatologists, patient associations, industries and public health authorities
    • By proposing topics of research in the field of psoriasis, international surveys

- By organizing every 3 years the International Congress on Psoriasis: the next will take place on July 6-9, 2016 at Palais des Congrès in Paris.
