Psoriasis is a skin disorder that dates back to ancient history. Despite its recognition there is no curable treatment to date. The disorder is expected to affect the quality of life of those who are affected. The Egyptian Society of Dermatology and Venereology (ESDV), a subdivision of the Egyptian Medical Association (EMA) takes the initiative by Psoriasis International Org. to fulfill the following objectives: 1. Help the creation of patient support groups. 2. Update dermatologists with recent advances in management of psoriasis. 3. Facilitate communication between Egyptian dermatologists who have special interest in psoriasis locally and internationally.
