The annual conference of Indian association of dermatologists, venereologists and leprologists would be held in Bengaluru,India from Jan 6th to 10th..2009.A session in cme is allotted for new developments in Psoriasis, 3 sessions in regular conference apart from a plenary oration on psoriasis, free papers and posters on psoriasis would be added attraction. The conference called Dermacon is also accepted for credits by AACME. 1. Psoriasis camp was conducted on "World Psoriasis Day" on 29th Oct 2009 at Owaisi Hospital & Research Center, Hyderabad, India. Patients were distributed free medicines and information brouchers on psoriasis 2. Similar programes were conducted in other hospitals in hyderabad by other members. 3. Dr. K. Basava Raj prof. of Dermatology JSSMC Mysore was awarded "biotechnology award" on his work in psoriasis basic research. 4. Dr. P. Raja Ram Memorial Oration was delivered by Dr. A.S. Kumar on 15th Nov 2009 in Guntur, AP, India. Late Dr. P. Raja Ram was a dermatologist, a Telugu Novelist & his last articles in local news papers were on patients prespectives on psoriasis.
